My first contact with calligraphy was in 1977, when it was at the Temple of Fire in Chongwen District, where I picked up the brush. However, I do not know how to get in touch with young people. I only remember the words that the teacher let us write or the title of the newspaper, and now I see that I really have time. Since 1981, I have been studying calligraphy formally. Since there is no ready-made copybook on hand, I went to copy the favorite copybook in the National Library to the reading room or filled the ink with double-hooked drawing paper. At that time, as long as there was a calligraphy exhibition in Beijing, I would ride a car to see that period of time still fresh in my memory.
