隐喻不仅是一种修辞方式,也是一种重要的思维和认知方式。空间隐喻是人们生活中最常见、最重要的一种隐喻方式。不同民族之间存在着一定的差异性,而这种差异性又会体现在认知方式上。因此本文主要研究空间隐喻在汉语和英语中的异同及其产生的原因,和对翻译的启示。 Metaphor is not only a rhetorical method, but also an important way of thinking and cognition. Spatial metaphor is one of the most common and important metaphorical ways in people’s life. There are some differences between different ethnic groups, and this difference will be reflected in the cognitive approach. Therefore, this article mainly studies the similarities and differences between space metaphors in Chinese and English and their causes, as well as their implications for translation.
