已有文献表明自主研发对创新能力有重要影响,随着我国知识产权保护水平的不断提高,研究知识产权保护在自主研发影响区域创新能力中的作用机理具有重要意义。运用我国2003—2013年省际面板数据,建立动态面板门槛回归模型,实证分析了自主研发对区域创新能力影响的知识产权保护门限效应。研究结果表明:自主研发对国内区域创新能力的影响显著存在基于知识产权保护的门限效应。当知识产权保护低于门限值时,自主研发对区域创新能力具有显著的促进作用;当知识产权保护跨过门限值后,自主研发对创新能力的促进效应更大。我国大部分省份未跨过门限值,处于低知识产权保护区域内,提高知识产权保护水平,有助于提高自主研发对区域创新能力的促进作用。
Literature has shown that independent research and development have an important impact on innovation capability. With the continuous improvement of the level of intellectual property protection in our country, it is of great significance to study the mechanism of intellectual property protection in independent research and development affecting regional innovation ability. By using the provincial panel data from 2003 to 2013 in our country, a threshold regression model of dynamic panel was established and the threshold effect of intellectual property protection on regional innovation capacity was empirically analyzed. The results show that there is a significant threshold effect of independent research and development on the regional innovation ability based on the protection of intellectual property. When the protection of intellectual property is lower than the threshold, autonomous research and development have a significant promotion effect on the regional innovation ability. When the protection of intellectual property crosses the threshold, the promotion effect of independent research and development on innovation ability is greater. Most provinces in our country have not crossed the threshold value and are in the low intellectual property protection area to improve the level of intellectual property protection and help to promote the promoting effect of independent research and development on the regional innovation ability.
