The progress of genetic transformation of carrot was reviewed. The molecular mechanisms and progress of Agrobacterium-mediated and direct DNA transformation methods (including gene gun method, electric shock method and PEG-mediated method) were introduced. , Types of explants and strain types were described in order to provide a theoretical basis for establishing a high efficiency carrot genetic transformation system.
