健美操自20世纪70年代开始最早流行于美国。最早名称为韵律操、韵律健美操。上世纪80年代在中国开始渐渐流行开来,但鉴于当时的社会环境,大众对这种服饰所谓比较暴露的健美操认为有碍观瞻,但随着改革开放,流行歌曲,流行服饰,这种健美操逐渐变得流行起来。如今,在一般的体育俱乐部,中小学,大中专高等院校都开设了健美操课程。但是通过学习健美操到底能对没有参加过这项体育活动的普通学生来说,能有什么在运动技能或身体协调力、反映能力、柔韧能力、思维反应能力有何种提高或是降低的作用,一直没有被明确提出。本文旨在通过分析运动技能的形成和参加体育锻炼的习惯性行为进行研究。从而证明,参加体育活动对普通人在身体素质等方面是有较大功效的。
