学校内部治理结构的完善有利于促进教育内涵发展。学校内部治理结构在演进的过程中表现出较强的路径依赖,出于成本的考量、已有配套制度体系的强化、难以学习新内部治理结构的制约、对原内部治理结构高预期的限制、既得利益者的阻碍、传统观念意识的束缚均使既有路径表现出自我强化机制。为此,应完善制度体系,以减少原制度网络的限制、降低变革成本;创建变革内部动力,以提高成员的学习动机、改变其对原结构的预期;建立有效激励机制,以减少利益者的阻挠;促进多主体参与,并提升治理主体的观念意识。以此实现路径突破,打破原有内部治理结构的路径锁定。
