商务英语写作重实用轻措辞,重效率轻人际,往往挫伤人际关系的和谐。评价理论是系统功能语言学关于人际意义的新发展。以马丁(Martin)的评价理论为基础,以随机抽取的36封建立商业关系信函为语料,尝试分析了其评价资源在商业信函中的人际意义,以期对写作教学有所启示。
Business English writing emphasizes practical light, heavy efficiency light interpersonal, tend to dampen the interpersonal harmony. Evaluation theory is a new development of system functional linguistics about interpersonal meaning. Based on Martin ’s theory of appraisal, this paper tries to analyze the interpersonal meaning of appraisal resources in business correspondence by using 36 randomly selected business relations correspondences as the corpus, with a view to enlightenment on writing teaching.
