本文在冠词选择参数理论框架下,通过实验的办法,探讨了特指性对中国学生英语冠词习得的影响。研究发现:(1)学习者在[+定指,+特指]语境里能正确使用the,而在[+定指,-特指]语境里过度使用a;(2)学习者在[-定指,+特指]语境里过度使用the,而在[-定指,-特指]语境里正确使用a;(3)学习者的英语水平对冠词使用没有显著影响;(4)冠词在[-定指,-特指]语境里的用法和在[+定指,+特指]语境里的用法体现出鲜明的顺序性,前者先于后者。
Under the framework of article choice parameter theory, this paper explores the influence of specificness on Chinese students’ English article acquisition through experimental methods. The study found that: (1) learners can use the correctly in the context of [+ fixed-point, + special], and over-use a in the context of [+ fixed-point-]; (2) [- fixed, + special] context over the use of the, and in the [- fixed, special] context correctly used a; (3) the learner’s English level has no significant effect on the use of the article; (4) The usage of the article in the context of [-definite, -specific] and the usage in the context of [+ definite, + special] embody distinct order, the former precedes the latter.
