为满足切割大型难削金属工件的需要,邢台冶金机械修造厂研制成功一台切割高度达750毫米的D8375型放电切割工艺试验机床。放电切割机床的构造见示意图,它的基本原理,主要是利用电流的热和化学作用。在切割加工时,被加工的工件接直流电源的(+)极,带电极接(-)极,并将两者浸泡在加工液中或在两者之间供给加工液,这样就能够在工作表面形成高电阻(1000欧姆~100欧姆)的绝缘性薄膜,当两电极瞬时接触分离时绝缘薄膜被破坏,就发生持续时间
