RZ058型陶瓷氧化铍是一种有用的 TLD 元件。它的主要特征是:1)发光曲线简单,2)热和紫外激发的假信号均限低,3)灵敏度高。这种元件的线性响应范周为1毫伦—10伦,在照射量大于10伦以后开始出现超线性的热释光响应,当照射量大于10~6伦时,热释光响应将达到饱和。若将经不同低剂量照射的氧化铍元件在正常本底、一般室温下存放一个月,低达1毫伦的信号还能探测出来。由能量响应引进的误差最大不超过20%。本文还报道了这种元件与其它元件在主要剂量学性能方面的比较结果。在成都和武汉两个地区,用这种氧化铍元件和 T 型氟化锂元件对医用诊断 X 线机的职业人员进行了个人剂量监测。从1500例的监测结果表明,氧化铍比氟化锂的监测要成功得多。
RZ058 ceramic beryllium oxide is a useful TLD component. Its main features are: 1) simple glow curve, 2) low ghosting of thermal and UV excitation, and 3) high sensitivity. The linear response of this element is about 1 millimeter to 10 milliseconds and begins to show a hyper-linear thermoluminescence response when the exposure is greater than 10 degrees. When the exposure is greater than 10 to 6 degrees, the thermoluminescence response is saturated . If the different doses of Beryllium oxide irradiated at the normal background, generally stored at room temperature for a month, as low as 1 millimeter signal can be detected. The maximum error introduced by the energy response does not exceed 20%. This article also reports the results of the comparison of the major dosimetric properties of this element with other elements. In Chengdu and Wuhan, the beryllium oxide element and the T-type lithium fluoride element were used to monitor the personal dose of medical X-ray diagnostic equipment. Monitoring results from 1500 cases show that beryllium oxide is much more successful than lithium fluoride monitoring.
