随着我国社会主义市场经济的逐步建立与完善,对文献信息资源的集散地——图书馆提供了千载难逢的机遇和严峻的挑战。在市场经济条件下,必然对图书馆开展文献信息服务提出许多新的要求。图书馆应该发挥自己的特长,通过主动上门、专题剪报、开放式巡回、集中式网络、先进式技术等途径提供文献信息服务。
With the gradual establishment and perfection of the socialist market economy in our country, the Library provides a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and a severe challenge to the distribution center of the literature and information resources. Under the condition of market economy, it is bound to put forward many new requirements for the library to carry out the literature information service. The library should give full play to its own specialty and provide documentary information services through such methods as initiative, special clipping, open circuit, centralized network and advanced technology.
