李斯(约公元前284年~公元前208年),李氏,名斯,字通古,战国末期楚国上蔡(今河南上蔡)人,秦代著名的政治家、文学家和书法家。一、生平简介司马迁在《史记·李斯列传》中记载了李斯的这样一件事:有一次,他发现在厕所里吃大便的老鼠,遇人或狗到厕所来,它们都赶快逃走。后来,他又在米仓看到吃粮食的老鼠,一只只都吃得又大又肥,优哉游哉地在米堆中嬉戏交配,没有人或狗带来的威胁和惊恐。于是,他发出了这样的人生感慨——“一个人有没有出息,就如同老鼠一样,是由自己所处的环境决定的。”李斯认为,人无所谓能干不能干,聪明才智本来就差不多,富贵与贫贱全看自己是否能抓住机会和选择环境。
