中国电影在新旧体制交替的时候,娱乐片的热潮已在全国掀起。打斗、凶杀、警匪、情爱、歌舞充斥城乡影院的银幕。一股“娱乐片热”正在日趋升温。娱乐片的兴起有其必然性,它既是对我们长期漠视电影娱乐功能的反拨,也是契合了电影市场的商业规律与观众需要。但仅靠娱乐片能拯救电影的危机吗?事实正相反,由于历史的原因,我国娱乐片发展的基础薄弱,既缺乏必要的创作经验,又缺乏坚实的理论指导。而一些电影厂的生产决策者却无视这样的现实,一哄而起争先恐后地抢拍娱乐片,认为拍娱乐片可以赚钱,因此,再也顾不得羞羞答答忸怩作态,索性拉下脸面,粗制滥造。有的编导由于观念模糊,将娱乐片拍得不伦不类,既非艺术又不娱乐。无论从片名到情节结构以及表现手段都是大同小异。不少制片
