以Gd合金化汽车发动机用AM50合金为研究对象,通过金相显微镜、X射线衍射仪、扫描电镜等手段,研究了Gd元素对铸态合金组织和耐腐蚀性能的影响。结果表明,铸态AM50合金主要由α-Mg固溶体和初生β-Mg17Al12相组成;AM50合金经过Gd合金化后,主要物相为α-Mg、β-Mg17Al12、Al2Gd3和Al0.4GdMn1.6相;Gd元素的添加可以起到细晶强化、净化除杂和弥散强化的作用;Gd合金化后的AM50合金的耐腐蚀性能都比未添加Gd元素的AM50合金好,其中当Gd含量为1%时合金具有最佳的耐腐蚀性能。
The effect of Gd on the microstructure and corrosion resistance of as-cast alloy was studied by means of metallographic microscope, X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy. The results show that the as-cast AM50 alloy is mainly composed of α-Mg solid solution and primary β-Mg17Al12 phase. The main phases of AM50 alloy are Gd alloyed by α-Mg, β-Mg17Al12, Al2Gd3 and Al0.4GdMn1.6 phases. The addition of Gd can play the role of fine grain strengthening, decontamination and dispersion strengthening. The corrosion resistance of Gd alloying AM50 alloy is better than that of AM50 alloy without Gd addition. When Gd content is 1% Alloy has the best corrosion resistance.
