Whether it has a sense of social responsibility, is a sign of maturity of the body and mind, but also a symbol of the birth of a citizen. A person with profound knowledge, cutting-edge technology, but can not respect the lives of others, do not understand why it is socially responsible, he can not be a citizen, he can only be Einstein said dog“. He is a great citizen who can live an ordinary life but realize the social responsibility he shoulders and is willing to devote his time and energy to the pain of others and the worries of others. Like the Wenchuan earthquake in Sichuan, many ordinary people put aside their work and went to the disaster areas to become unknown volunteers. Because of them, some people even called 2008 ”the first year of Chinese citizens.“ Distress arouses the sense of social responsibility in us. It is one of the most basic humanistic concerns in civil society. It is also a mission that every citizen must take for the society and others. Of course, social responsibility has never existed only in times of crisis. More often, it permeates every detail of everyday social life and state governance. Citizens’ sense of social responsibility is not inherent. What can we do to educate and educate children in basic education? In this issue we specially plan the topic ”Citizens are growing up", dedicated to those who are working for the birth of their citizens.
