IBM 日前宣布,ChipKill 芯片技术已经使用在 IBM 最新推出的 Netfinity 7000M10服务器上。ChipKill 芯片技术,曾作为NASA 火星探路者上计算机的主内存。通过 ChipKill,该服务器将不会因内存芯片出错或者芯片中的任意多位的校验错误而导致停机。
IBM recently announced that ChipKill chip technology has been used in IBM’s latest Netfinity 7000M10 server. ChipKill chip technology, which was used as the main memory of NASA’s Mars Pathfinder computer. With ChipKill, the server will not shut down due to memory chip errors or any number of parity errors in the chip.
