皮纹学(Dermatoglyphics)是研究皮肤嵴纹和它们排列类型的一门科学。每个人的皮纹都有他的特异性、终生性和遗传性。近些年来国内外医学界对皮纹学的研究,普遍引起重视。自从Cuminins(1936)最先描述Down氏综合症的皮纹特异后,Patau等又证明了染色体D三体综合症、E三体综合症也和皮肤的嵴纹特异有关。此后医学界逐渐把皮纹学做为遗传性疾病的一个辅助诊断。国内近几年也有人对皮纹学进行一些调查,为了进一步探讨皮纹学与染色体疾病和先天性畸形的关系,我们检查了500例汉族青少年9个项目的皮纹正常值,并对各种皮纹型进行对比和统计学处理,现初报如下:
