陈明伟浙江宁波鄞州人,出生于1960年。从小酷爱书画、篆刻,进而逐渐学习红木雕刻、骨木镶嵌家具的设计与制作,并着重开始对沉香雕刻艺术的研究探索与收藏。经过近30年的工作积累,在工艺美术领域有了较为突出的咸绩。现为中国工艺美术大师,国家级非物质文化遗产代表性项目“骨木镶嵌”传承人,高级工艺美术师,浙江省工艺美术协会副会长,宁波市政协常委,紫林坊艺术馆馆长。
