After introducing the excavated situations since the foundation of the PRC, the author concluded that the funerary money were the imitation of “Ying Yuan”in shapes and seals except that they are made of copper or Pottery but not gold. The funerary money took the place of “Ying Yuan”in burying because the latter one is more expensive. The two big gold plates, excavated in Xu Yi county, Jiang Su province, were cut from a bigger 0ne. Maybe“ Ying Yuan” had been circulated until the early Western Han Dynasty.
