Objective To investigate the relationship between executive function and Nogo-N2, the principal component of event-related potentials. Methods Seventeen children with depression (case group) and 18 healthy children (control group) were selected. Dandy Keypoint EMG-evoked potential was used to detect event-related potentials in 2 groups of children. Subjects should perform a key reaction to rare acoustic stimuli (for Go reaction), no key reaction to standard acoustic stimulation (for Nogo reaction), a Nogo-P300 waveform from Nogo reaction, and Nogo-N2 for Nogo-P300 In the waveforms, the latency and amplitude of Nogo-N2 were compared. Results The latency and amplitude of Nogo-N2 were (277.00 ± 17.91) ms and - (4.06 ± 1.47) μV in the case group and (262.72 ± 17.61) ms and - (7.26 ± 1.61) μV in the control group There was statistical significance (t = 2.38, 6.14, Pa <0.05). Conclusion Nogo-N2 can reflect and monitor, inhibit the executive function.
