以补阳还五汤为主，中西医结合治疗老年血管性痴呆４５例，另以单纯西药治疗４０例作对照，两组分别于治疗前后做智能测试及红细胞变形能力测定。结果：治疗组患者智能改善较对照组明显（Ｐ＜０．０１），且红细胞变形能力提高，提示补阳还五汤能促进血管性痴呆患者的康复。 Take Buyang Huanwu Decoction as the main treatment, 45 cases of senile vascular dementia treated by combination of TCM and western medicine, and 40 cases of western medicine alone as the control, the two groups were tested before and after treatment, and the erythrocyte deformability was measured. Results: The improvement of intelligence in the treatment group was more obvious than that in the control group (P <0.01), and the erythrocyte deformability was improved, which indicated Buyanghuanwu decoction could promote the rehabilitation of patients with vascular dementia.
