平邑县境内矿产资源丰富,其中,已探明花岗石储量23亿立方米,被誉为“中国花岗石之乡”。近十年来,我县依托丰富的花岗石资源,大力发展石材业,走出了一条合理开发利用自然资源,变资源优势为经济优势的路子。目前,全县已发展花岗石矿山51处,年开采及引进荒料2万多立方米;加工企业500多家,其中限额以上加工企业12家,年加工板材600万平方米,年进出口板材20万平方米;已发展成为全省最大的石材集散地,我县美丽石材有限公司发展为江北最大的经营进口石材企业。全县直接从事石材业的人员达1.5万人,年创产值11亿元,年实现利税2900多万元,占全县地方财政收入的14%。石材业已成为我县的重要产业和推动全县经济增长的有力支撑。今后,我们将更好地利用资源优势,努力建设石材强县。 Pingyi County, rich in mineral resources, of which proven reserves of 2.3 billion cubic meters of granite, known as the “hometown of Chinese granite ”.
