  During Interfiliere Hong Kong, Ms. Marie-laure, the CEO of Eurovet as well as the one with knight’s Cross, had a long talk with the editor of China Textile Magazine. Through the interview, Marie shared her thoughts of the beloved career— “You do what your heart wants to do. It’s fine.”With the elegant and decent conversation, you cannot help yourself being intoxicated with her charm.
  What surprises does Eurovet prepare for the audiences on this edition?
  Firstly, we still keep on paying much attention on the theme of sustainable. While the differences are Eurovet is injecting more into social humanistic feelings; secondly, the “Day & Night” themed trend forum and the “Feminine Sports” fashion show that take place around the forum are the trend attractions of this edition, and the prototype fashion show showcases creative sport inspired outfits created by the students of the Polytechnic University and OEM manufacturers Lico and Tengfei; thirdly, for the first time in Hong Kong a trend workshop takes place on both days. Working in a multicultural team with people from different companies and with different perspectives during an afternoon gives designers, buyers, product managers and R&D managers new insights into how trends, col- lections as well as teamwork should be done to be successful in the intimate apparel and swimwear sectors.
  From the first edition exhibited in Hong Kong in the year of 2007 to now, what are the changes impress you most?
  There are two changes is worthy to remember, namely, the change of exhibition quality which presents that the exhibitors are improving their own products’ quality and credibility, and more and more ones here are focusing on sustainable development, which is good not only to our show, but to the enterprises.
  In China, Eurovet locates Shanghai and Hong Kong to hold the intimates & underwear. Why do you choose two cities to exhibit one show? And could you talk about the relationships between shanghai’s show and Hong Kong’s?
  I do love China, and of course the main reason is Asia, especially China, has a rapidly growing market, and we want to invest more to get a head start.


  With regard to the relationships between Shanghai’s and Hong Kong’s, I think the show in Hong Kong could be seen as the complement for Shanghai’s. Although the audiences here are less than the show in the other city, it takes much weigh in export. Actually, no matter the show held in Shanghai or Hong Kong, we focus on the market not only in China, but the whole Asia.   In your opinion, are there any new characteristics of world intimates & swimwear industry?
  For one, some new fabrics appear some lighter, more comfortable, and more technical contents; for two, new brands emerge in endlessly, and which could ensure the high quality and control the cost; for the last, internet changes the way of resale.
  So, what’s your key to success to share with every reader?
  Actually my achievements should all thank to my team, while for the readers who want to make something of their career, maybe you could remember the points as follows:
  Make proper person do proper work.
  Be elegant in every minute, and always remind yourself which field you are serving for.
  Listen to your customers’ demands and advice, and keep smiling to everyone.
