混凝土构筑物正向着高性能及高层方向发展,为此要求混凝土在密集的钢筋中具有良好的填充性,并对强度提出了更高的要求。现今大流动度混凝土由于使用了矿渣粉及增稠剂等掺合料,使混凝土的生产工艺复杂化,同时也导致了其碳化冻、融等耐久性的降低。日本鹿岛建设公司与秩父水泥公司现今研制成功了高贝利特水泥,经与高性能的引气型减水剂配伍,可制成水泥比为0.30的大流动度C90混凝土,并在秩父熊谷水泥厂车间工程的试点应用中取得成功。
