“Medicine” is an important short piece in “Scream” of Lu Xun’s first novel, written on the eve of the New Democratic Revolution - April 25, 1919. Moore (1900) is a short story by the famous Russian writer Anteliv (1871-1919), which Lu Xun translated into Chinese. Lu Xun pointed out in “The Second Book of Novels in the Department of Chinese Literature” that there was “Annette’s coldness” at the end of “medicine.” This article attempts to compare the two novels from the three aspects of space-time structure, symbolic impressionism and “spiritual unity” to recognize the characteristic of “cold and cold”.
