由于许多工业部门使用苯及其衍生物——甲苯,所以测定作业工人血内甲苯是一个重要问题。本文用气相色谱法测定血内甲苯。苏制《-5》气相色谱仪,配有火焰电离检定器。用经肝素处理的10 μl玻璃注射器取10μl指血(不作予处理),注入色谱仪。甲苯经由填充玻璃棉的气化器加温便从血样中蒸出。装填玻璃棉可定期清净气化器。适宜的气化温度为160℃[注]。每次进样后及时用过氧化氢清洗,然后用水清洗。为保证分析结果的重现性,每进样4~5次后必须更新气化器内填充的玻璃棉。
