第十二届全国人大常委会第二十四次会议审议通过了《关于修改〈中华人民共和国民办教育促进法〉的决定》。教育部有关负责人在解读本次修法的相关问题时表示,民办教育将实施分类管理,现有民办学校可以重新选择是否营利性进行分类管理登记,但是义务教育阶段不得设立营利性民办学校,同时此次分类管理登记不设过渡期。
