作为新世纪我国第一部研究徐悲鸿 的大型学术专集,《世纪丰碑--新世纪 首届徐悲鸿学术研讨会论文集》一书在江 苏省委、省政府的关心和全国美术界同仁 的支持下现已由全国优秀出版社--天津 人民美术出版社正式出版发行,2004年 11月20日在南京师范大学举行了隆重的首 发式,江苏省文化厅厅长章剑华、南京师 范大学副校长吴康宁、徐悲鸿弟子画家谭 勇、江苏省国画院院长赵绪成、中央美 术学院原书记盛阳、中国美术家协会理论 委员会副主任马鸿增、南京师范大学美术 学院书记朱文秀、南京大学美术研究院院 长吴为山等领导和艺术家出席并做了重要 讲话。他们对此书均给予了极高的评价并 认为其意义是广泛而深远的,对于中国美 术界今后的发展具有重要的指导意义。同 时还认为江苏省徐悲鸿研究会为此书的出 版所做的艰辛工作是功不可灭的,在新世 纪,徐悲鸿的艺术思想仍值得作进一步研 究。

They all gave a very high opinion on the book and considered it to be of broad and far-reaching significance, which is of great guiding significance to the future development of Chinese art circles. At the same time, he also thinks that the hard work that Xu Beihong Research Society of Jiangsu Province did for the publication of this book is irreversible. In the new century, Xu Beihong’s artistic thought still deserves further study.
