理化研究所生命科学筑波研究中心,从人体细胞发现了能抑制癌变的肿瘤抑制基因,通过实验确认了该基因正常工作,从高等细胞(人体细胞)发现抑癌基因,并确认其功能在世界上还是首次。该中心的井川洋二主任研究员认为这个基因虽不能直接用来治疗癌证,但对于了解正常细胞如何癌变之谜,是一个重要因素。此次发现抑癌的基因,是利用了肿瘤细胞同正常细胞融合后肿瘤细胞转为正常细胞这一现象。方法是:首先在即将致癌的小鼠成纤维母细胞中加入致癌基因之一的ras基因,使之癌变,再在这个细胞中用磷酸钙法加入从人的正常细胞(人成纤维
The Tsukuba Research Center of the Life Science Research Institute of the Physical and Chemical Research Institute discovered a tumor suppressor gene that inhibits canceration from human cells. The experiment confirmed that the gene works normally, that tumor suppressor genes are found in high cells (human cells), and that its function is confirmed in the world. For the first time. The director of the Center’s Ichikawa Yoo’s researcher believes that although this gene cannot be directly used to treat cancer, it is an important factor for understanding how normal cells are cancerous. The discovery of tumor suppressor genes is based on the use of tumor cells that fuse with normal cells and turn tumor cells into normal cells. The method is: First add the ras gene, one of the oncogenes, into cancerous mouse fibroblasts to make it cancerous, and then use this method to add human normal cells (human fibers) with calcium phosphate method.
