从基于特征的设计出发，阐述了特征的工程含义及分类，并分析了零件的形成过程就是不断创建特征和对特征进行定位的过程．同时，以工程零件为例，讨论应用 Ｃｉｍ ａｔｒｏｎ 软件进行特征创建零件的过程．
Based on the feature-based design, this paper expounds the engineering meaning and classification of features, and analyzes the forming process of parts is to continuously create features and locate features. In the meantime, taking engineering parts as an example, we discuss the process of creating parts by using Cim atron software.
