花椒是优良的香料、油料树种,果皮为食品调料及中药材,除畅销国内,也是主要的出口农产品。花椒耐干旱瘠薄,适应性强,在沂蒙山区的蒙阴、沂水、沂源、费县、莱芜、新泰等县(市)的瘠薄山地生长良好,产量很高,是我省花椒的传统产区,花椒果皮产量占全省总产量的80％以上。是沂蒙山区经济效益极高的生物资源。为了进一步发展和利用花椒资源,我们系统调查了蒙阴县的花椒品种,认为小红袍品种的经济性状比较优良,今介绍如下:

Prickly heat tolerance barren, adaptable, in Yimeng Mountain Mengnian, Yishui, Yiyuan, Fei County, Laiwu, Xintai counties (cities) barren hills grow well, the yield is high, is the traditional production of pepper in our province District, pepper skin output accounts for more than 80% of the province’s total output. Yimeng Mountain is a high economic efficiency of biological resources. In order to further develop and utilize pepper resources, we systematically investigated the pepper varieties in Mengyin County, and considered that the economic traits of Xiaoxiaopao varieties are relatively good.
