为了推进科技进步,促进国际科技和贸易往来,许多国家都陆续以国际单位制为基础统一本国的计量单位。由于历史原因,我国过去的计量单位很不统一,市制,英制和国际制混合使用,极不适应现代科技发展的需要。为此,1984年2月国务院发布命令,规定我国的计量单位一律采用《中华人民共和国法定计量单位》。这一决定无疑对我国的改革开放和科技进步有很重要的意义。在农业科技和生产中,因为涉及理、工、农、生、医等广泛的领域,用到的法定计量单位及过去惯用的非法定计量单位较多较复
In order to promote scientific and technological progress and promote international science and technology and trade, many countries are gradually unifying their own units of measurement based on the International System of Units. Due to historical reasons, the past units of measurement in our country were very uneven. The mixed use of municipal, imperial and international systems did not meet the needs of modern science and technology. Therefore, in February 1984, the State Council issued an order stipulating that all units of measurement in our country shall adopt the “legal measurement unit of the People’s Republic of China”. This decision is undoubtedly of great significance to China’s reform and opening up as well as scientific and technological progress.
