古村镇是一种文物的集合体。它相对于已经消失的埋藏于地面以下的古遗址,是一种保留至今的弥足珍贵的文化活体,承载着很多的关于古代的信息。洛阳地区文物资源丰富,地面之下古遗址、古墓葬星罗棋布,地面以上古建筑、古村镇数量众多。有14处入选“中国传统村落”名录,有33处文物保护单位和古村镇有关。随着城镇建设和农村经济的迅速发展,古村镇在文物保护方面出现了许多问题。人为原因和自然因素正在侵蚀和破坏着古村镇、古建筑,古村镇、古建筑消失加快,我们必须采取有效的措施加以保护。
