It is well-known that cyclosporine has significant nephrotoxicity, however, the incidence of cyclosporine-related hypertension (CAH) is significantly higher than its nephrotoxicity. The mechanism is unknown, some people think that CAH may be secondary to the expansion of the center with sodium retention.
