几年来,协作组通过人工培养水稻离体花药,曾诱导出4,500余管(丛)绿色花粉植株(移栽成活约3,000余管),其中约有2,000个花粉植株个体获得了后代。这些材料来自“粳×粳”、“秈×粳”、“秈×秈”130多个杂交组合(绝大部分为粳稻类型),有杂种一代,也有高世代的杂种材料。1975年我们从中选育出“959”和“157”两个晚粳新品种,已开始在全省范围内多点试种和较大面积生产示范。在选择鉴定工作过程中,我们对花粉植株当代及其后代作了部分遗传性状观察,现将观察的结果和作法体会整理如下:
Over the past few years, the cooperative team has induced more than 4,500 green pollen plants (about 3,000 surviving transplants) by artificially cultivating rice in vitro anthers, of which about 2,000 pollen plants have acquired offspring. These materials come from more than 130 cross combinations (mostly japonica rice varieties) of japonica × japonica, indica × japonica and indica × indica, with hybrids and hybrids of the same generation. In 1975, we bred new varieties of two late japonica varieties, “959” and “157”, and started to carry out multi-point trial planting and large-scale production demonstration in the whole province. In the process of selection and appraisal, we made some genetic traits observations on the pollen plant’s present and future generations. The results and practices of the observations are summarized as follows:
