本月聚焦:印度“2009年免费义务教育权利法案”规定,将为6—14岁的孩子提供免费义务教育。该法案还特别对于低等种姓以及残疾儿童的受教育权利进行了相关规定,不论他来自何种家庭背景,都能获得平等的教育权利。法案同时要求在职教师在法案生效后5年内必须取得职业资格,否则将不能从事教师职业。法案生效后3年内没有解决基础设施问题的学校,将被取消办学资格。
This month’s Spotlight: India’s “Free Compulsory Education Bill of Rights 2009” provides free and compulsory education for children aged 6-14. In particular, the Act also provides for the right to education of lower caste and children with disabilities and provides equal access to education regardless of the family background. Act also requires serving teachers in the Act 5 years after the entry into force must obtain professional qualifications, otherwise they will not be able to engage in teaching profession. The school that did not solve the infrastructure problem within 3 years after its entry into force will be disqualified.
