中国的剪纸动画植根于中华民族民间文化之中,是中国动画的一个重要组成部分,为中国动画赢得了荣誉。《金色的海螺》等剪纸动画的制作,风格各异,极具民族特色,极大地丰富了中国动画的表现手段,增强了中国动画的表现力。剪纸动画艺术在不同历史时期有着不同的特点及风格,意在表现中国传统文化,并对其继承和发扬,本文仅就剪纸艺术对其动画产生的联系来展开论述,分析中国传统文化剪纸艺术是如何进行创新运用于动画的创作,进而使剪纸动画短片看上去已经完全不同于过去的皮影和剪纸样式,使其形式感强。
