中间结构作为一种特殊的句法和语义结构,得到了国内外学者的广泛关注。其中最受争议的是中间结构的生成过程。对于中间结构的生成过程,在语言学界形成了两大派别:词汇生成派和句法生成派。前者坚持中间结构在词库中生成,不涉及任何句法移位,纯粹是一种前句法操作。而后者认为中间结构在句法阶段形成,因为中间动词丧失了给逻辑宾语赋格的能力,所以逻辑宾语必须移位到主语位置上才能获得格。这两种方法都存在着缺陷。本文在以往研究的基础上,提出用VP壳理论对中间结构进行研究,提出了中间结构生成于使役性导致的句法移位,推导出英汉中间结构的句法生成树形图,以及两者的统一生成模式。
As a special syntactic and semantic structure, the intermediate structure has drawn wide attention from domestic and foreign scholars. One of the most controversial is the generation of intermediate structure. There are two major factions in linguistics that are involved in the formation of the intermediate structure: the vocabulary generation and the syntax generation. The former insists that the intermediate structure is generated in the thesaurus and does not involve any syntactic shift, purely a former syntactic operation. The latter thinks that the intermediate structure is formed at the syntactic stage, because the intermediate verb loses the ability to assign logic to the logical object, so logical objects must be shifted to the position of the subject to obtain the grid. Both of these methods are flawed. Based on the previous studies, this paper proposes that the VP shell theory be used to study the intermediate structure, the syntactic displacement caused by the enable structure of the intermediate structure and the syntactic tree generation of the middle structure between English and Chinese are proposed Build mode.
