Entrusted by the Qinshan Nuclear Power Company of the Nuclear Industry Ministry, the Institute of Building Materials and Products of the Chinese Academy of Building Research conducted a comprehensive inspection of the quality of the containment concrete of Qinshan Nuclear Power Station, the first atomic power station designed and constructed in China. The containment is the last barrier for nuclear power plants to prevent the spread of radioactive materials in the event of an accident. The structure is complex, the quantity of work is large, and detection is difficult.
