由中国美术馆与新加坡美术馆共同呈献的“时代之遇——新加坡美术馆藏东南亚美术精品展”将于8月31日在中国美术馆开幕。展览配合“亚洲艺术节”及“第一届亚洲美术馆馆长论坛”举行。此次展览将展出新加坡美术馆馆藏的约七十件美术作品,涵盖所有东盟国家即印尼、菲律宾、马来西亚、文莱、泰国、缅甸、越南、柬埔寨、老挝及新加坡的五十多名艺术家的创作,展现了东南亚现代美术19世纪末至21世纪的演变。此次展览将从社会和人本两方面,向中国观众呈献东南亚现代艺术的外在与内心世界,介绍东南亚艺术的绚丽多彩,表现其中所反映的民族性及国家性,也带出东南亚区域的文化意义。
The Times Encounter - Singapore Art Gallery’s Southeast Asian Fine Arts Exhibition, jointly presented by the National Art Museum of China and the Singapore Art Museum, will open on August 31 at the China Art Museum. The exhibition is held in conjunction with “Asian Arts Festival” and “The 1st Asian Art Museum Curator’s Forum”. The exhibition will feature about 70 pieces of art from the Singapore Art Museum, covering more than 50 artists from all ASEAN countries, namely Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and Singapore Creation, showing the evolution of modern art in Southeast Asia from the late 19th century to the 21st century. The exhibition will present the external and inner world of modern art in Southeast Asia to the Chinese audience from both social and humanistic perspectives. It will introduce the colorful and colorful arts of Southeast Asia, show the nationality and nationality reflected in it, and bring out the Cultural significance.
