“加州学派”关于18世纪中欧经济史比较研究的一批成果,基于批判“西方中心主义”的立场,运用了新方法,提出了新见解,但同时也存在争议。本文即是针对该学派历史观和方法论的商榷,认为“加州学派”的基本观点是一种资源至上的唯生产力论史观,忽视生产方式和社会制度的进步对一国转型和发展的重要性。它在进行历史比较时,抛却关于历史进步的一些普遍标准,在研究方法上也多有不尽合理之处。
“California School ” on the 18th century, a series of comparative studies on the economic history of China and Europe based on the criticism “Western-centrism ” position, the use of new methods, put forward new ideas, but there are also controversial. This article is about the school of history and methodology of the discussion, that “California School ” is the basic view of a resource supremacy of the concept of the productivity of history, ignoring the progress of production and social system for the transformation and development of a country importance. When it makes historical comparisons, it abandons some universal standards on the progress of history and there are also many unreasonable points in its research methods.
