魏子卿院士,河南省睢县西陵镇人,1934年7月出生,1954年7月入解放军测绘学院大地测量专业学习,1960年7月毕业,分配到总参测绘研究所工作。历任技术员、副研究员、研究员。他事业心强,工作勤奋,思维敏捷,学风严谨,知识渊博,科研成果丰硕,对我国人卫大地测量专业的建设和发展做出了突出贡献。1992年享受政府特殊津贴,1995年增选为中国工程院院士。 60年代初,他投身于测绘专用电子计算机的研制,负责线路设计和试验,参加并领导了103型计算机的调试,为计算机技术在我国测绘专业数据处理中的早期应用作出了贡献。 70年代初,他从事海上大气折光修正研究,为我国首次远程战略武器试验外弹道测量创造性地提出了基于气象参数的修正模型和修正方案,为提高导弹命中精度作出了重要贡献。 70年代中期,卫星多普勒定位技术开始在西方国家运用。他眼光敏锐,注意到这一技术对发展我国战略武器和航天技术的重要价值,率先在国内开展了用卫星多普勒定位技术建立我国地心坐标系的研究。在技术资料缺乏的情况下,提出了多普勒测量方案,编制了定位软件,计算出的地心坐标系与国家大地坐标系之间的转换参数,在我国军事和航天领域发挥了重要作用。 70年代末,魏子卿院士为精化我国地心坐标系和天文大地网,提出了建立全国卫星多普勒
Wei Ziqing Academy of Sciences, Xiling Town, Pixian County, Henan Province, was born in July 1934. In 1954 July, he joined the People’s Liberation Army Surveying and Mapping Institute in geodesy and graduated in July 1960 and assigned to the General Staff Survey and Mapping Institute. In the early 1970s, he engaged in the study of atmospheric refractive correction at sea, and creatively proposed a revised model and amending scheme based on meteorological parameters for China’s first test of the long-range strategic weapon test. This made an important contribution to improving missile hitting precision. In the mid-1970s, satellite Doppler localization technology began to be used in Western countries. He was keenly aware and noticed the important value of this technology in developing China’s strategic arms and space technology and spearheaded the study on establishing a geocentric coordinate system in China using satellite Doppler localization technology.
