炎热的夏天,某些工厂里的车间必需采取降温措施,人们也需要冷饮以帮助身体散热。致冷是生产和生活中不可缺少的。今天,有各种各样的致冷装置。半导体致冷器,是最近才发展起来的有前途的一种。它同其它半导体器件一样,具有小巧、方便等特点。在国外,已经出现了一种半导体冷饮器,它比普通的茶杯略大一些,人们只要插上电源,就可以自制冷饮;而改变电流的方向,又可以制出热饮。当然,这只是半导体致冷器的次要的用场。由于它具有许多可贵的特点,它已经成了致冷工业上的新生力量,在生产和科学研究中有许多很有意义的应用。
On hot summer days, workshops in some factories must take cooling measures. People also need cold drinks to help the body to cool. Refrigeration is indispensable in production and life. Today, there are various types of refrigeration devices. Semiconductor chillers are the most promising ones that have only recently developed. It is as small and convenient as other semiconductor devices. In foreign countries, there has emerged a semiconductor cold drinker, which is slightly larger than an ordinary tea cup. People can cool and drink by simply plugging in the power supply, and changing the direction of the current can also produce hot drinks. Of course, this is only a secondary use of semiconductor refrigerators. Because of its many valuable features, it has become a new force in the refrigeration industry. There are many significant applications in production and scientific research.
