运动补偿预测编码对帧间图象编码来说是非常有效的技术。然而在图象序列中常会发生运动突变,这将导致大的预测误差。为了减少这类误差,本文提出了一种自适应的运动补偿预测编码方案。它假定运动突变总是发生在轮廓线上,通过计算轮廊线的位移,并将它应用于象素位移迭代的初始化算法中,以使位移计算更加精确。计算机模拟的结果表明,新算法可以极大地减少编码比特率,同时也可获得较好的图象质量。
Motion-compensated predictive coding is a very efficient technique for inter-frame coding. However, motion mutations often occur in image sequences, which leads to large prediction errors. In order to reduce such errors, this paper presents an adaptive motion-compensated predictive coding scheme. It assumes that the motion mutation always occurs on the contour line. By calculating the displacement of the corridor line and applying it to the initialization algorithm of pixel displacement iteration, the displacement calculation is more accurate. Computer simulation results show that the new algorithm can greatly reduce the coding bit rate, but also can get better image quality.
