车轮饼起源于日本,最早叫大判烧,在江户时期,江户的钱叫做“判”而车轮饼的形象就象一个大钱币。所以叫做“大判烧”也有地方称之为“今川烧”“二重烧”“回转烧”“太鼓烧”在日本“大判烧”是著名的三大饼之一,后来传入台湾,由于形象酷似车轮又取名车轮饼,最好吃的车轮饼莫过于刚刚做好,一口咬下去时由于内馅饱满到溢出来,让人一边喊烫一边忙着擦嘴的情景,公司根据市场需求独创多种口味:奶油、香芋,红豆、巧克力等。 Wheel cake originated in Japan and was first called Dajuku.
