所谓脑机能的柔性幼儿脑的高度学习能力和对环境的敏感性、适应性表现了儿童脑机能的柔性,神经科学上把由于外部输入而产生的脑机能与结构上的微细变化,叫做脑的可塑性。即脑的结构和机能是适应输入信号而变化的,并非固定不变。脑的可塑性的基础有突触传递的可塑性,这种可塑性就是接受一定输入之后,引起突触传递效率的变化,适应外部输入改变其传递效率的突触称为可塑性突触。可塑性突触在成长脑中经常活动。它的大量存在支撑着脑功能的柔性。

Its massive presence underlies the flexibility of brain function.
