鞣花酸化学名为2,3,7,8—四羟基[1]苯并吡喃[5,4,3—cde][1]苯并吡喃-5,10—二酮。是一聚酚类化合物,以游离态,鞣花单宁或葡萄糖甙的形式广泛存在于自然界。主要存在于双子叶木本植物,栗子、桉树、大戟、芒果、栎树等植物中,也广泛存在于人们常食用的各种水果和蔬菜中,如葡萄、草莓、石榴、芒果、黑核桃、绿茶等。其纯品为淡黄色针状结晶,熔点360℃以上,在366和255波长有最大紫外吸收。
Ellagic acid has a chemical name of 2,3,7,8-tetrahydroxy[1]benzopyran[5,4,3-cde][1]benzopyran-5,10-dione. It is a polyphenolic compound that is widely found in nature in the free form of ellagitannins or glucosinolates.
