女性主义翻译理论是在传统翻译理论研究基础上的进步。西方女性主义翻译批评的理论译者主体性的发挥有助于我们发现传统译论存在的不合理性,对翻译理论研究者有启迪作用。但同时,我们也要清醒地意识到女性主义翻译理论过分张扬译者主体性而容易使其理论走向极端的弱点。因此,译者在翻译时应当把“忠诚”原则与发挥主观能动性结合起来,使译文更好地被接受。
Feminist translation theory is based on the traditional translation theory research progress. The translator’s subjectivity of western feminist translation criticism helps us to find out the irrationality of the traditional translation theory and has the enlightenment effect on the researchers of translation theory. At the same time, however, we must also be soberly aware of the weakness that feminist translation theories excessively advocate translator’s subjectivity and tend to make their theories extremely extreme. Therefore, when translating, the translator should combine the principle of “loyalty” with the initiative of subjectivity so as to make the translation better accepted.
