根据中国会计学会第四届常务理事会扩大会议关于改革学术活动方式和设立“中国会计学会北京会计改革与发展纵谈”(下称‘纵谈’)的决定,“纵谈”于1996年3月8日在北京商学院隆重举行了成立大会和首次学术研讨会。参加会议的“干事”单位有北京商学院、北京轻工学院、中国人民大学、南开大学、北京大学、北京赛特集团公司、华能集团公司、中国财政杂志社等,包括大型企业、中外合资企业、高等院校、研究机构、政府机构、会计学术单位、会计师事务所、新闻单位等23个,共有50多位专家学者。
