《鸡尾酒会》是艾略特的一部重要戏剧作品,讲述了主人公爱德华与妻子、及西莉亚之间的情感危机,在心理分析师雷利爵士的疏导和劝解下成功走出困境的过程。根据精神分析中人格结构理论,来解读小说中爱德华在自由意志和理性意志下所处的伦理困境以及做进行的伦理选择,明确了文本中蕴含的伦理道德问题,突出文学伦理批评在解决文学创作中伦理困境问题的有益尝试。
“Cocktail Party” is a major Eliot drama, tells the emotional crisis between the protagonist Edward and his wife, and Celia, the psychological counselor Sir Rayleigh’s guidance and persuasion successfully out of the woods. According to the theory of personality structure in psychoanalysis, this paper interprets the ethical dilemma and ethical choice of Edward in the novel under the free will and rational will, clarifies the ethical and moral issues contained in the text, and highlights the limitations of literary ethical criticism in resolving literary creation Beneficial Attempt of Ethical Dilemma in China.
